    Before You Begin, Arrive

On crossing the threshold into ceremony

On crossing the threshold into ceremony. A quiet invitation to arrive fully, light a candle, take three slow breaths, place a hand on your heart, and ask the one question that matters before any sacred work begins.

    Before you begin, arrive.

This is a sacred threshold. It is the first step of your ceremony, and it has already begun, simply because you are here.

Something brought you to this page. Call it longing, call it grief, call it a whisper you have heard for years beneath the noise of your life. Whatever its name, honor it now by arriving fully.

Find a quiet place, a corner of your home where you can be fully with yourself, even if only for a little while. If you have a candle, light it. Let its small flame remind you that every great transformation begins with a single point of light, willingly kindled.

Now, take three slow breaths. Breathe in through your nose, slowly and deeply, until your lungs are full. Release through your mouth. With each exhale, let your shoulders drop, let your jaw soften, let the day's weight slide from your back.

Place a hand on your heart. Feel it beating, faithful and patient, carrying you through every day of your life, freely and in love. And from that place, ask yourself gently:

    Why am I truly here?

Let the true answer rise, the one that comes when all is quiet and your heart speaks for itself.

The questions ahead invite you to look at your body, your family, your fears, your love, and your longing. Answer from your heart, openly and as yourself. Every honest answer is the right one, and all of you is welcome here. This is a space of healing. Your words are held in sacred confidence, read only by those who will hold ceremony with you.

You walk this path in sacred company. Your ancestors walk with you, those whose prayers you are the answer to. Your guides and allies walk with you. The Creator, by whatever name you know the Divine, has been waiting for this conversation longer than you have.

Take all the time you need. Pause when something stirs. Return when you are ready. Your words will be kept safely, exactly where you left them.

When your breath is slow and your heart is open, begin.

    Welcome home.

When you feel the call, our door is open. Begin your ceremony intake whenever your heart is ready.
